What Is Meant by Recovery?

Recovery means different things to different people.

The NDIS describes recovery as achieving the best possible personal, social, and emotional wellbeing, in a way that is defined by you, while living with or recovering from a mental health condition.

For many people, this includes having choice, feeling more in control of daily life, and building connection through community and meaningful participation.

What is Psychosocial Recovery Coaching?

Psychosocial recovery coaching is a strength-based support service designed to help individuals living with psychosocial disabilities.

Our recovery coaches have specialist knowledge and experience in recovery-oriented practices, mental health, and service navigation. Unlike support coordinators, recovery coaches are required to have mental health specific experience, training and/or qualifications.
